MOTORIZED RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
The motorized recreational vehicle, also called camping car or motorhome, is built directly from the chassis of a motorized vehicle. There are four diferent categories of motorized RVs: Class A motorhome, Class B motorhome, Class B+ motorhome and Class C motorhome. It is mainly the lenght, the built and the modifications made to the chassis that will determine the category of the RV. All the types of motorhomes can have a gasoline or diesel engine, depending on the chassis used by the manufacturer.
Class A motorhome
With dimensions similar to those of a bus, the Class A motor home is the largest and most luxurious of the motorized recreational vehicles. Altough the majority of Class A motorhomes are designed to accomodate a couple, some also have bunk beds to house a family. Their lenght generally varies between 28 and 40 feet.
The Class A motorhome is popular with people who travel long distances and stay in their recreational vehicle for an extended period. It offers most of the amenities found at home has equipement to operate independently.

Class B motorhome
Manufactured starting from a Ford, GM, Dodge or Mercedes-Benz van frame with an elevated roof, the Class B motorhome is the smallest and most economical of the motorized recreational vehicles. The size of this type of RV makes them easy to maneuver, so they are ideal for a couple frequently on the move or who wants to visit more urban places.
The Class B motorhomes are designed to be small and still offering all the essential amenities. The chassis they occupy is modified inside, but is not expanded. The vans used in the manufacture of Class B motorhomes have a raised roof and some models have a roof that extends upwards.

Class B+ motorhome
The Class B+ motorhomes are a compromise between Class B and Class C. It has an enlarged structure fixed on a chassis, like a Class C, but remains smaller. The cockpit where the driver's seat is located is as provided with the chassis. The total lenght of the vehicle is therefore shorter, being between 24 and 26 feet for the majority. The cabin above the cockpit is shorter and lower.
The Class B+ motorhomes can accomodate a couple and some models will accomodate even a family. It is the ideal vehicle for someone who wants to have all the basic amenities and have a vehicle with an easy and enjoyable ride.

Class C motorhome
On a frame similar to the Class B+, the Class C motor home includes the bed over the driver’s cabin. The cockpit where the driver's seat is located is original with the chassis. The amenities of the Class C motorhome resemble those of a Class A, but ona smaller scale. Their total lenght usually varies between 25 and 35 feet, but some can go up to 40 feet.
The Class C motorhome features an interior with a suptuous finish that provides ample space for those who travel a lot or have a family. The Class C motorhome provides a stable and comfortable ride for its occupants.
